1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using StoreRanker ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. The App is provided by NerdLabs ("we", "our", "us").

2. Description of Service

StoreRanker is a Shopify app that automates SEO for your store. It generates optimized meta titles and descriptions for your products and collections, drafts and publishes blog posts to your Shopify blog, and syndicates content to external platforms to earn backlinks — all on a schedule you configure. The App applies approved changes to your store through the Shopify Admin API.

3. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store and agree to Shopify's Terms of Service to use StoreRanker. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable laws.

4. Subscription, Billing & Credits

StoreRanker is offered on subscription tiers, each billed monthly through Shopify.
Each tier includes a monthly allowance of usage credits that power SEO optimizations, blog post generation, and content syndication. Credit costs and tier pricing are shown in the App before you subscribe.
Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over unless otherwise stated in the App.
Your Shopify account will be billed for the selected tier each billing period unless you change your plan or uninstall the App.
All billing is handled by Shopify. We do not process payments directly.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the keywords, content preferences, and automation settings you configure in StoreRanker.
You are responsible for reviewing generated meta content and blog posts before publication where you have enabled review mode, and for the content published to your store.
StoreRanker generates SEO content programmatically and does not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic, or revenue outcome.
You should ensure the content you publish complies with applicable laws and Shopify's policies.

6. Data Handling

StoreRanker reads product and collection metadata from your store and stores configuration, SEO history, generated content, and subscription state to operate the App. We do not collect your customers' personal data. Our handling of data is described in full in our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

StoreRanker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NerdLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of search rankings, or content errors.

8. No Guarantee of Results

StoreRanker is a software tool that automates SEO tasks. Search engine rankings depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee improved rankings, increased traffic, or any particular business outcome from using the App.

9. Availability & Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Termination

You may stop using StoreRanker at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or Shopify's Terms of Service.

11. Intellectual Property

StoreRanker and all associated branding, code, and documentation are the property of NerdLabs. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App. Content generated for your store and published to your store is yours to use.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
